A national panel of judges has awarded David Pollitt a 2008 Media Fellowship Award for his work as an independent documentary filmmaker. Sponsored by South Florida Cultural Consortium, this award recognizes his work on "The Final Run" and "3000 Holes".

THE FINAL RUN - In the middle of the night a truck loaded with Greyhounds speeds away from a racetrack.  The camera follows as the dogs are transferred from truck to truck in dark parking lots, northbound, along the east coast.
